Housekeeper

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Housekeeper to work with our team at our Balmoral by Northcare Glasgow. 1 years work experience in the hotel sector would be ideal.

Responsibilities:

• To fully clean, tidy and make beds in each room
• To follow direction as required from home manager or senior staff in each suite
• To shampoo and deep clean carpet area in bedrooms as required
• To ensure that the home environment is maintained
• To load the dishwasher and/or wash-up by hand when required
• To ensure all washed items are clean and dry before putting them away
• To assist with the ordering of supplies if requested to do so
• To assist to put away any supplies delivered to the Home promptly

Ideal Candidate:

• Must have a good command of written and spoken English and a valid work permit
• Ability to communicate with the elderly
• Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation
• 1 years’ work experience in the hotel or restaurant sector preferred
• Immediate start (subject to PVG Check and references)
