Sous Chef – Fire, Flavour, and Craft
We are looking for a highly skilled Head Chef to take full responsibility for leading a fire-led kitchen with a strong focus on Mediteranean produce. This is a rare opportunity to make your mark in this Central London setting where respect for ingredients are central.
Sous Chef -The Role:
- Support the Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations.
- Lead the team during prep and service, stepping up when required.
- Contribute to menu development focused on seasonality and open-fire cooking.
- Assist with stock control, GP, ordering and supplier relationships.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation.
- Train, mentor and develop junior chefs.
About You:
- Sous experience in a quality-driven kitchen.
- Passion for cooking over fire and seasonal, ingredient-led food.
- Confident leader with strong communication skills.
- Organised, calm under pressure and consistent during busy services.
- Good understanding of kitchen financials and cost control.
