Hired-Hospitality – Freelance In-House Recruitment

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Hired-Hospitality, a freelance in-house recruitment consultancy led by Jason Sham (“we,” “us,” or “our”), to any client (“you” or “the Client”) who engages our services.

By commissioning our recruitment services, you agree to the following:

  1. Services Provided

    Hired-Hospitality provides:

    • Freelance, embedded recruitment services tailored to hospitality businesses.
    • End-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checking.
    • Verification of Right to Work (RTW) documentation and delivery of untampered candidate CVs.
    • Exclusive focus: we work with one client at a time to ensure dedicated service.
  2. Engagement Models

    a) Freelance In-House Recruitment

    • Fee: £5,000 per calendar month
    • Includes full recruitment support as outlined in the agreed Scope of Work
    • Minimum engagement: 1 month unless otherwise agreed

    b) One-Off Placements

    • Fee: 10% of the candidate’s agreed gross annual salary
    • Includes sourcing, screening, RTW checks, and reference verification
    • Invoiced upon candidate offer acceptance
  3. Payment Terms

    • All invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
    • Late payments may incur a fee of £50 or 5% of the total invoice, whichever is greater, for each 14-day period overdue.
    • We reserve the right to pause or terminate services in cases of continued non-payment.
  4. Candidate Introductions

    • All candidate profiles introduced remain the property of Hired-Hospitality for 12 months from the date of introduction.
    • If a candidate is hired within this 12-month period (directly or via a third party), the agreed fee becomes payable.
  5. Candidate Vetting

    All presented candidates will have:

    • An unedited CV
    • A personal interview conducted by Hired-Hospitality
    • Verified Right to Work documentation
    • Two references confirmed or in progress at the time of recommendation
  6. Client Responsibilities

    The Client agrees to:

    • Provide accurate job descriptions, salary ranges, and timelines
    • Offer timely feedback and communication throughout the hiring process
    • Ensure legal and contractual obligations are met upon hiring
  7. Confidentiality

    Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding all candidate information, commercial terms, and internal business matters. This obligation continues beyond the duration of the engagement.

  8. Termination

    • Monthly retainers may be terminated by either party with 7 days’ written notice.
    • In the event of early termination, fees will be calculated pro-rata based on time or work completed.
    • One-off placement services may not be cancelled once a candidate has accepted an offer.
  9. Liability

    While we thoroughly vet all candidates, we are not responsible for their performance post-placement. We accept no liability for loss, damage, or costs arising from the actions or omissions of hired individuals.

  10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
