Sous Chef– Fire-Led Kitchen - East London

We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in a fire-led kitchen celebrating seasonal British produce with Mediterranean influence. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a high-quality, creative East London restaurant.

Sous Chef -The Role:

  • Support the Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations.
  • Lead the team during prep and service, stepping up when required.
  • Contribute to menu development focused on seasonality and open-fire cooking.
  • Assist with stock control, GP, ordering and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation.
  • Train, mentor and develop junior chefs.


About You:

  • Sous or strong Jnr Sous Chef experience in a quality-driven or Michelin-level kitchen.
  • Passion for cooking over fire and seasonal, ingredient-led food.
  • Confident leader with strong communication skills.
  • Organised, calm under pressure and consistent during busy services.
  • Good understanding of kitchen financials and cost control.
