Sous Chef – Brunswick House - Vauxhall

We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join the kitchen at the highly regarded, design-led restaurant in South London.

Set within a unique and characterful space, the venue is known for its seasonal, produce-led menus and elegant dining environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established and respected operation, supporting the leadership of a quality-driven kitchen.

 

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen, ensuring high standards, consistency and smooth day-to-day operations across:

  • À la carte restaurant service
  • Banqueting
  • Seasonal menu development

You will play a key role in maintaining standards, mentoring junior chefs, and contributing to the ongoing development of the menu and kitchen culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous
  • A Michelin-starred or Michelin-standard kitchen is preferred
  • Strong background in seasonal, British/European, produce-led cooking
  • Passion for high-quality ingredients and menu development
  • A calm, organised approach with strong leadership potential
  • A team player with a hands-on attitude
