We are looking for an Meeting & Events Sales Executive

Working 40 hours per week, mainly office hours, however,
some weekend working may be required.


As an Meeting & Events Sales Executive you will maximise the sales and profitability of Meetings & Events and related bedrooms at Luton Hoo Hotel Golf & Spa through effective diary management and conversion.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your events sales experience within a luxury resort environment.


What we are looking for:

• Enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to work in a team.
• The ability to manage the finances of bookings, e.g., pre-payments, cancellation fees, correct billing.
• The ability to upsell and gain maximum profitability
• Excellent customer care and communication skills to build great relationships with our customers
• Good time management and diary management skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• IT skills and experience with hotel software, such as Opera, is desirable.
