Stores Assistant

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa are recruiting a Stores Assistant to join us from 1st April 2024.

Overview of the role:
The efficient running of the Store and Cellar to ensure the security of all store areas during working hours. To supply relevant areas with required stock according to business levels. To assist with waste disposal and recycling.

Working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday - 8am to 3.30pm
Weekend working may be required on occasions.

A full manual driving licence is essential for this role as you will be transporting goods around the hotel areas in a company vehicle.

What we are looking for:

Ability to carry out a physically demanding role as you will be moving and handling goods daily.
Numeracy and literacy skills.
Computer skills including emails.
Ability to use software packages for ordering.
Great communication skills
A positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.
Previous stores and stock taking experience, preferably within a hotel environment.
A passion for high quality service with attention to details and the ability to multitask.
