Group Reservations Agent

As a Groups Reservations Agent you will be responsible for recording and processing all reservation enquiries made by phone, fax or e-mail efficiently and accurately, maximising sales and room occupancy rates.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To accept, process & manage group reservations to ensure maximum occupancy and accuracy
  • To attain the weekly function sheet from events ensuring that all details are communicated to the rest of the team
  • Ensure exemplary levels of guest service are consistently maintained
  • Adhere to all company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received
  • Process rooming lists and group blocks within the MARSHA and OPERA systems.
  • File and process reservations correspondence.
  • To assist M&E team during busy period with office tasks

 

Skills & Experience

  • Previous hotel front office or reservations experience is preferable
  • Previous customer service experience is essential with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent command of English, any other language is an added advantage
