Senior Structural Engineer

There will be support in helping to manage and build a team as part of our continued growth. While this role is advertised as a Senior Engineer, we are also open to considering a Principal Engineer position for the right candidate.

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our C/S team in our Edinburgh office.

This is an opportunity to grow your career with an agile and award winning organisation. You will work on a wide variety of design led projects ranging from new build, zero carbon developments, commercial redesign to achieve net zero aims and large scale public sector refurbs to community projects. We work in multiple sectors including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Defence and Leisure.

As a senior member of our Structural Engineering department, you'll lead project delivery and management, ensuring quality and efficiency in design work. Responsibilities include supervising junior staff, representing Harley Haddow in client interactions, and providing C&S input on projects. Experience with refurbishment and listed buildings, is not essential but would be advantageous for this role. Strong communication skills are vital for collaboration, and you're encouraged to attend industry events and training courses for ongoing career development with the approval of the Departmental Director.
