Alistair Fulton Senior Management, Civil & Structural, Glasgow

Alistair has over 20 years’ experience working as a structural engineer with design knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry and timber design. He has worked across all sectors including education buildings, religious buildings, city centre residential developments, offices, defence, sports facilities, retail parks and industrial projects. He has also worked on new build, refurbishment and conservation of historical buildings.

Chris has extensive experience in the design and construction of both new build and refurbishment projects across most construction sectors. Chris’s responsibilities include supervision of the Civil & Structural design team, project delivery, project management and SER Certification. During his career, he has led many design projects with a well natured and thorough approach that sees him popular with clients and fellow professionals. Chris also takes a lead role in the training and developing of graduates and ICE trainees.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience of the design and delivery of projects over the UK and overseas in the MENA regions. His experience ranges across all sectors with particular expertise in the cultural & leisure and education sectors involving the refurbishment and conservation of heritage buildings. He has a particular expertise in the initial stages of a project working with the other design team members to shape the building solution. He adopts a hands-on approach retaining involvement from inception to completion.

David has over 40 years’ experience in civil and structural engineering, with his particular field of expertise being historic buildings and their restoration. Either bringing these building back to life or reimagining them for a completely new yet contemporary use. His workload also covers retail, housing, education, healthcare and feasibility studies, while his many projects in the Hebrides allows David to understand fully the challenges of working in rural and remote locations.
