Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Bar Supervisor to join the team at the Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, leads by example, and knows how to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

As Bar Supervisor, you’ll support the Food and Beverage Manager and the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, and compliance are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and motivate the bar team during service
• Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest queries professionally
• Assist with staff training, rotas, and performance support
• Ensure drinks are prepared and served to brand and quality standards
• Maintain stock control, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures
• Uphold health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Step up to lead shifts in the Food and Beverage and Restaurant Managers absence

About You
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hotel environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
• Calm, organised, and confident under pressure
• Passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
