Job Description

We are looking for someone to join the team at Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa as a Reservations & Groups Coordinator, where your passion for exceptional guest service meets the charm of our iconic property. As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you'll play a vital role in ensuring their stay is seamless from the moment they book. Key Responsibilities

Revenue Optimisation:

  • Maximise RevPAR by refining revenue strategies with the Central Revenue team.
  • Manage third-party sites and agents to ensure effective reservations procedures and high conversion rates.

Group Reservations:

  • Oversee group reservations to meet budget goals and support the selling strategy.
  • Minimise revenue loss through robust group and reservations processes.

Market Competitiveness:

  • Implement strategies to keep the hotel ahead in the local market.
  • Contribute to and adhere to the hotel’s selling strategy.

Customer and Team Relationships:

  • Build strong relationships with guests and team members to understand and meet their needs.
  • Assist in training and coaching front office team members.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Prior experience in Hotel reservations or telesales and familiarity with Opera software.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail.
  • A positive, confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality guest service.
  • Proficiency in IT and maintaining excellent grooming standards.
  • A proactive work approach.
