Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated and professional Assistant Night Manager to join the team at The Reserve, the luxury accommodation experience at Chester Zoo.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, seamless, and memorable overnight stay, while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and security across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Night Manager in overseeing all overnight operations
• Act as the main point of contact for guest enquiries and issues during night hours
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property
• Conduct regular site checks and maintain incident logs
• Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs
• Handle administrative duties, including reports and system updates
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the zoo’s conservation-focused mission

 

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in hospitality, hotels, or guest services (supervisory level preferred)
• Calm, responsible, and confident working independently at night
• A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
• Comfortable handling emergencies and making decisions under pressure
• Flexible and reliable, with a passion for guest experience
