Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel is currently recruiting for Maintenance Manager to join our Team. We are looking for a talented leader who has a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience and a desire to learn and grow within our team.

The Role:

• Take responsibility for all maintenance throughout the hotel, hand on role
• Manage on site contractors ensuring health and safety compliance is adhered to
• Maintaining hotel bedroom and front of house areas to brand standard
• Assist with customer requests in an efficient and professional manner
• Liaise with all departments in the hotel to ensure effective communication
• Manage cost within budgeted guidelines within the maintenance department
• Preparation and communication of property reports for hotel
• Will include some operational shifts in other hotel departments with being a small hotel operation
• Experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance/ Property Refurbishments

What we need from you:

• Understand hotel property compliance
• Able to carry out property maintenance as required
• Competent level of computer skills
• Intermediate level of health and safety compliance for hotels.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
• Enthusiastic approach to work and problem solving
