The Role

We are looking for a Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our growing team. As a member of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the facilities and always maintaining a high standard of hygiene, always in strict adherence to health and safety standards.

We are looking for individuals who can support our teams effectively and efficiently, whilst consistently maintaining a high-quality standard. You will be a team player that communicates well with colleagues and embodies a can-do mindset. Punctuality, reliability and flexibility are a must.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Actively manage the cleaning operations and uniform room operations whilst maintaining high standards throughout. 
• Oversee and support the housekeeping team through regular checks, clear communication, and ongoing coaching. 
• Confidently perform and supervise dry & wet cleaning of upholstery, monitor restock of supplies and ensure all club areas are maintained to our high cleaning standards at all times. 
• Comply with all company and unit policies with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling, Fire and COSHH.
• Understand and communicate all relevant safety procedures related to cleaning and housekeeping duties to all team members. 

About you 

• Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality or service-based industry.
• Must possess a positive can-do attitude and be a team-player that communicates well with colleagues.
• Comfortable to walk & stand during most shifts, as well as frequent manual handling tasks of heavier items.
• Strong customer care ethic and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Attention to detail and is passionate about maintaining high standards.
• You will possess a friendly, characterful demeanour and take genuine pleasure in supporting your colleagues.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support the business as required.
