The Role 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Bartender to join our world-class Food & Beverage team at The Roof Gardens. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional drinks and unforgettable guest experiences. As a Senior Bartender, you will play a key role in leading the day-to-day operation of the bar, supporting the Bars Manager and Head Bartender to deliver impeccable service, maintain the highest standards and inspire the team around you.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Delivering exceptional drinks service in line with our luxury hospitality standards.
• Supporting the Bars Manager and Head Bartender in leading the bar team during service.
• Preparing and serving premium cocktails, wines, spirits and beverages with precision and consistency.
• Maintaining immaculate bar presentation, cleanliness and mise en place before, during and after service.
• Building strong relationships with our members, providing warm, personalised and engaging service.
• Ensuring bar procedures, stock controls and licensing regulations are consistently followed.
• Supporting inventory management, stock replenishment and accurate use of the POS system.
• Assisting with beverage revenue growth by maximising guest experience and average spend.
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge and contributing ideas to enhance our drinks offering.
• Coaching and supporting junior team members while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.

 

About You 

• Previous experience as a Senior Bartender, Bartender or similar role within a luxury hotel, private members' club, premium restaurant or high-end hospitality environment.
• Outstanding cocktail and mixology skills with a genuine passion for premium spirits, wines and beverages.
• A natural ability to engage with guests and deliver exceptional personalised service.
• Excellent organisational skills and the confidence to lead a team during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining the highest operational standards.
• Experience with stock control, bar operations and POS systems.
• A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
