Reporting Analyst

£35,000 - £40,000

Sawbridgeworth

We do what we say!
That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done.

Are you a detail-driven Data Analyst who enjoys turning numbers into meaningful insights? We have an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills—ideally with experience in utilities, construction, or another data-rich environment—to join our team and play a key role in supporting our work with Affinity Water.

You’ll help us spot trends, identify risks, and provide clear, actionable insights that shape our commercial strategy and support performance across the business.

Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in:

  • Collecting, collating and analysing data from a variety of management information sources
  • Producing regular reports that inform commercial decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Using analytics to carry out root cause investigations and liaising with different teams to identify required actions
  • Highlighting risks, themes and trends in performance data, helping the business to respond quickly and effectively
  • Developing and sharing best practice across teams to drive consistency and improvements
  • Producing clear, data-driven insights and feedback to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring findings are understood and acted upon

We’d love to hear from you if…
You’re proactive, analytical and enjoy problem-solving. You’ll have well-developed research and data interpretation skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear messages that influence decision-making. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to multiple deadlines will also help you thrive in this role.

Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with tools such as Power BI will be a real advantage. A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, along with commercial awareness and an understanding of how information management supports the full project lifecycle.

Equally important are your communication skills: you’ll be confident in tailoring your approach to suit different audiences, ensuring that your insights have real impact.

Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role, either now or in the future.
