We are seeking several Civils Team Leaders to join our growing Southern Water Sewerage Team.

You will be reporting to the site manager and leading a team to undertake multiple activities. This will include - deep excavations, caissons, installation of sewer pipelines and manholes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents, as well as meeting the projects target and deadlines.

Here are some of the activities that you'll get involved with...

  • Full compliance with health safety and environmental procedures whilst taking responsibility for the safety, delivery and quality of the work undertaken.
  • Commencing works once fully satisfied that all risks have been removed or minimised.
  • Carrying out activities in accordance with RAMS and highlighting or escalating deviations. Compliance with NRSWA / NJUG / HAUC and client specifications.
  • Accurate and timely completion of site paperwork. Co-ordinate delivery / pick up of materials as required.
  • Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.
  • Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional.
  • Leading by example to others on site.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...

Extensive experience in a similar role and skilled with using a varity of tools and machinery.  Safety focused with a great attitude and excellent communication skills.

A full and valid driving license is essential and as many of the following tickets as possible:

NRSWA operatives card
Water hygiene card
NPORS/CPCS (Excavator)
CSCS card
Underground service detection
Deep excavation training
Confined spaces
First aid qualification
Abrasive wheels
