We have an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about a career in utilities and construction. Applications are now open for our Groundworker Apprenticeship, providing a unique 18-month 'hands-on' and practical program starting in May 2024.

About the Apprenticeship:

In this comprehensive program, you will delve into various construction methods, safety protocols, and the fundamental principles of internal/external drainage and ducting systems. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will earn multiple industry-recognized qualifications, setting the foundation for a rewarding career.

Block release training sessions with fellow apprentices in Bircham Newton, Norfolk, will be part of your learning journey. Don't worry about expenses – we've got your travel, food, and accommodation covered!

The Role:

As an integral part of our team, you will be involved in some of the most complex engineering projects in the UK. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting operatives on-site with tasks such as excavation, ground support, pipe laying, casting concrete, backfilling, and reinstatement.

You have a strong foundation in teamwork, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. The role also requires individuals with robust critical thinking skills, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities. Physical resilience is key, as the position involves handling various physical tasks, including hand excavation. Additionally, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction within the team and clear articulation of ideas and information.
