This role plays a key part in supporting the commercial management of major infrastructure works, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently, sustainably and in line with contractual requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, working within a fast-paced environment where your input will directly influence commercial performance and project success. We would love to hear from you if… You have experience working within civil engineering, utilities or major infrastructure projects, with a solid understanding of commercial management within a contractor environment. Experience working on large-scale programmes such as HS2 or similar would be advantageous. You will have a good understanding of NEC contracts with a minimum of 7 years experience and be confident managing cost reporting, forecasting and subcontractor accounts. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage risk and change effectively are key to success in this role. You’ll be organised, detail focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment, with the ability to communicate clearly across site and office-based teams. A proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills will enable you to add value across the project lifecycle. A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is essential, along with a full UK driving licence, as travel to site will be required.
