Graduate Environmental Advisor31900BrightonWe Care.... and if you are concerned about the environment and what’s going on around you - we have a lot in common! Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Environmental Advisor. If you’re keen to kick off your career as an Environmentalist, where you will be out on site, talking to engineers and spotting risks before they become problems, plus helping to put practical solutions in place, this could be the role for you. This is not a desk-based sustainability strategy role, it’s about being present, visible, and influential where it really matters. You’ll be supporting projects through design, construction, and reinstatement, helping our teams stay compliant, minimise environmental impact, and continuously improve how we work. Here are some of things you'll be involved with...
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate... You are a recent graduate with a degree in an environmental discipline, with a keen interest in applying your knowledge in a practical and hands-on environment. Curiosity and confidence when engaging with people are qualities that are important. Previous experience from a work placement/internship would be an advantage. A genuine interest in protecting the environment through action, not theory, is essential. Membership or desire to progress towards professional accreditation such as IEMA, CIWEM, IES, or CIWM would be advantageous. As this role is field-based, you will be provided with a small van, so a full UK manual driving licence is essential. Who this role is ideal for ... ✔ Someone who wants to be out on site and working closely with operational teams. If you’re looking for a purely office-based sustainability or policy role, this isn’t the right fit, but if you want to make a tangible difference on live projects and see the impact of your advice every day, we’d love to hear from you. ** We are not able to offer sponsorship with this role ** Our Company Every day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations.
