Project Manager

Harefield

We are ambitious!
That's why we're looking for people like you, ready to stretch yourself, take on something new and play a key role in keeping our business moving.

This is a fantastic secondment opportunity for an internal colleague who wants to broaden their experience and grow.

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised, people-focused colleague to provide project management cover across our Business Systems team while a member of the team is on maternity leave (August - February).

You'll join a friendly and well-respected team, keeping things moving, making sure projects stay on track, the right people are talking to each other, and nothing falls through the cracks.

It's a role where you'll keep plans up to date, flagging risks early, and helping deliver change smoothly. You don't need to be a seasoned project manager to thrive here, if you're well organised, a confident communicator and someone who enjoys bringing order to busy workloads, we'd love to hear from you. We'll support you to pick up the rest.

Here are some of the things you'll be doing…

  • Keeping key business systems projects on track, with clear timelines and priorities
  • Supporting our ERP (IFS Cloud) and improvement activity so delivery continues without disruption
  • Maintaining project plans and documentation (plans, RAID logs, RACI) so progress and risks stay visible
  • Acting as a coordination point between IT, Finance, Operations and functional teams
  • Spotting, tracking and escalating risks and issues before they become blockers
  • Supporting governance and change control (including CAB) and helping coordinate testing, readiness and sign-off
  • Helping keep stakeholders informed and engaged

We'd love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate…

  • A naturally organised approach and the ability to juggle several things at once
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with people across the business
  • A calm, practical mindset and comfortable with change and happy to adapt
  • Good attention to detail and a drive to see things through
  • An interest in how systems, processes and projects come together
  • Any experience of coordinating projects, working to deadlines, or supporting system or process change would be a bonus, but a willingness to learn and the right transferable skills matter most.
