Role: Repair and Maintenance Operative
Location: Hazards Green
Hours: 7.30am – 5.00pm
Pay rate: £14 per hour

The Role:

Business growth means that we have several opportunities to join our high performing repair and maintenance team, to safely undertake activities, in a way that minimises disruption to residents, as well as meeting the contract targets.

Here are some of the things you will be involved with...

• Efficient setup and removal of site equipment in accordance with NRSWA Streetworks Chapter 8.
• Full adherence to health, safety, and environmental procedures, taking ownership of the safety, delivery, and quality of the work performed.
• Timely and accurate documentation of information related to completed and ongoing jobs on the Toughbook.
• Commencing work only when completely satisfied that all potential risks have been eliminated or minimised.
• Maintaining polite and professional interactions with colleagues, customers, and the public to minimise the need for escalation.
• Collaboration in incident, accident, or damage investigations.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...

A full UK driving licence, coupled with hands-on experience in the water industry. Additionally, having a Blue Card and proficiency in Service Laying would be advantageous. An NRSWA Streetworks ticket, along with sought-after qualifications like Abrasive Wheels, Cat and Genny, and Machine tickets, are highly desirable.
