We're now looking for a Social Media Manager to join our small but mighty team to help define the next chapter. Reporting into the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will oversee our social media channels with creative content and excellent engagement.
You will play an integral part of the marketing function shaping our strategies and campaigns from across the hotel for our social audiences to grow brand awareness and generate revenue.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 4 years working in a marketing role (after graduating), preferably with a hospitality, luxury or travel brand
- A social native, with a deep understanding of all social platforms and your eye on the entire media landscape with a view to growing your knowledge
- Experience of producing photographic content for social media and corporate communications
- A highly developed aesthetic judgement and creative sensibility with a keen eye for design, detail and visual styling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Canva and WordPress)
- Embody the One Aldwych brand as an articulate, cultured and affable individual – a confident, independent thinker
- Based in London or within easy reach of London
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while remaining flexible
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for luxury hospitality and marketing
- Ideally a foodie who knows good restaurants with your finger on the pulse of local culture, the arts and what’s coming next
- A data driven mindset able to analyse results and draw conclusions
- Motivated and at your best in a fast-paced environment
- Able to collaborate at all levels including email, phone and face-to-face with the ability to listen and problem solve
- Equipped with strong communication skills, with an exceptional standard of both written and spoken English, and the ability to positively express opinions and influence
- Experienced in producing a high standard of work at all times, paying attention to detail and removing the possibility of error. You will maintain all company quality standards continually looking for areas of improvement

- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is beneficial

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish a detailed knowledge of One Aldwych and to build strong working relationships with your hotel colleagues
- Bring your creativity to prepare engaging and topical monthly content plans for our social media channels, primarily Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
- Take responsibility for preparing visual content for our social channels either by photographing or videoing material in-house or through professional shoots which you will manage
- Use your creative writing skills to develop seasonal blog content for the website
- Keep the One Aldwych brand part of the social conversation by scheduling, delivering and monitoring content on an ongoing basis
- Focus on performance with monthly social media marketing reports and clear KPIs
- Continuously evolve our social marketing testing assets, posting cadence and overall strategy to optimise our presence in the organic social space
- Think commercially as you create, manage budgets and report on paid social campaigns including display and remarketing
- Build a robust influencer programme researching, selecting and managing relationships with content creators and influencers with directly or via external agencies
- Bring content creators’ experiences at the hotel to life as you coordinate their stays, dining and treatments
- Run the hotel’s social inboxes in a timely manner managing the communities and responding to any content creators and guests
- Adhere to SEO and GEO best practice and guidelines to improve rankings on social platforms and search engines
- Be the go-to person for all things social as you monitor industry trends, product developments and competitor activity to make recommendations for the social media strategy
- Develop the One Aldwych social channels to remain at the forefront of developments in social trialling new social platforms and technologies as appropriate
- Support the marketing team with brand partnerships and activations, including collaborative social content
- Integrate fully with the team’s wider marketing efforts with creative tactical campaigns and brand moments that drive brand awareness, consideration and conversion
- Keep your finger on the pulse with local goings on to position One Aldwych as a cultural hub with rich content relating to our neighbourhood
- Assist in the preparation of marketing plans and budgets for the hotel
- Coordinate promotional events and partnerships to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement
- Embrace life as a brand champion for considered, up-to-date and accurate messaging throughout all marketing channels
- Attend marketing appointments and events as required
