The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the smooth and efficient running of the operational side of Housekeeping, ensuring that the highest service standards are delivered by the team. The role will be responsible for the deployment of a team of permanent and casual Housekeeping staff and for the effective management of stock levels and supplies.

Key Areas of Activity

• Oversee the Housekeeping Team on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure that the Clubhouse and Tennis and Health facilities are setup and to standard at the start of every morning.
• Respond to any overnight issues reported by the Night Manager.
• Develop daily check sheets for all areas of the Club.
• Implement an opening procedure to ensure clear and precise instruction for the Team to follow to ensure standards are consistent and of the desired quality.
• Implement a stock monitoring and control system to monitor usage of all stock and to help control costs.
• Implement Departmental training for all current and new Housekeeping staff. Demonstrate expected standards and how to achieve the required standards.
• Design a review system for all undertaken work and implement the inspection and sign off procedure for all work carried out by Housekeepers. All work must be verified and signed off.
• Develop a relationship with all Departments across the Business and ensure clear communication with all Departments.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Have a proven track record of working within a 5* establishment consistently delivering a 5* service.
• Extensive knowledge of eco-friendly, sustainable and most efficient cleaning products and equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of all current guidelines and cleaning practices. i.e. colour coding system.
• Excellent organisational skills to ensure the productivity and efficiency of the department.
