Casual Bartender / FOH

One of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Here we cater for a number of different events through the year ranging from corporate and private meeting & events to the absolutely enthralling match days over the course of the year. We are looking for a customer focused Casual Bartender / Front of House Assistant to join our team at one of our prestigious client locations in Taunton.

Duties to include:
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with licensing regulations and company standards.
• Provide excellent front of house service, engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take orders, process payments, and operate tills accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas at all times.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol, checking identification where required.
• Assist with stock replenishment and basic bar setup before, during, and after events.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.

You will have the following skills:
• Willingness to work on a casual basis, to support event operations.
• Reliable and punctual, arriving on time for assigned shifts.
• Capable of handling tasks that may involve heavy lifting ,and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work well as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Basic communication skills to understand and carry out tasks and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Willingness to take on various roles and responsibilities as needed during events.
• A customer-friendly attitude and a willingness to assist event attendees as required.
• Ideally Holds Health Safety Level & Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificates.
• Must be aged 18 or over due to the service of alcohol.

Knowledge / competencies:
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
