Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Hours: 40h per week
A stunning B&I location in Nuneaton for a global provider of automotive engineering, research and test services. Catering for approximately 1200 people daily. We offer lunch, coffee shop, roaming food van and a good amount of high end hospitality. The role is a Monday to Friday operation. Additional benefits of this location is a free bus shuttle service.
We are looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Nuneaton.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Pastry Chef. Experience of making cakes, bread and pastry from scratch will also be welcomed as full training and development will be provided.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
- To work well in a team producing bread, cakes and desserts for lunch service and hospitality.
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

Knowledge / competencies:
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
