
Kitchen Porter - Monday to Friday
Nagykovácsi
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: HUF 5,424,240 per annum
Hours: 40 per week
A leading coeducational independent school, offering an international curriculum from multiage 3 through grade 12 in Nagykovácsi near Budapest. Catering for over 800 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of full lunch offering plus an all day coffee shop. This is a term time operation working 44 weeks per year. The operations runs mainly Monday to Friday, with some hospitality over the weekends on occasion.
Only applicants with a current Right to work in Hungary will be accepted. We will not be able to provide sponsorship/ work permits.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Nagykovácsi.
You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
Key skills:
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great team player
- Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
- Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for:
- Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Can do attitude.
- Organisation Skills.
Knowledge / competencies:
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
