We are looking for an experience Production planner working Wednesday to Saturday 6am to 4pm 

• Experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or similar planning role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and material requirements.

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating detailed production schedules that ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. This role coordinates closely with supply chain, production, procurement, and quality teams to balance capacity, materials availability, and customer demand while optimising productivity and minimising downtime.

Scheduling & Planning

• Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and capacity constraints.
• Adjust schedules proactively in response to material shortages, capacity issues, equipment downtime, or changing priorities.
• Analyse production data to optimise workflows and reduce bottlenecks.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability for scheduled production.
• Communicate schedule updates, risks, and conflicts to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with production supervisors to confirm labour and machine availability.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate scheduling data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Track production performance metrics (e.g., adherence to schedule, cycle times, output).
• Prepare and distribute production plans, KPIs, and capacity reports.
• Occasional Invoicing through EDI systems.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance scheduling accuracy and production efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and process optimisation.
• Participate in root cause analysis for schedule deviations.
