The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the worlds largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.

We’re now looking for a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join our Property Services team and play a key role in supporting maintenance across our growing estate.

The Role

As Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll be the central point of contact for day-to-day maintenance activity across our sites. You’ll coordinate planned and reactive works, liaise with contractors and site teams, and ensure compliance standards are consistently met.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on coordination role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate PPM schedules, ensuring timely completion and certification
• Monitor contractor performance, KPIs and supplier relationships
• Support Property leadership with administration and reporting
• Oversee maintenance systems, asset register and capital replacements
• Liaise with Finance on R&M payments
• Ensure compliance with UK fire, gas and electrical regulations
• Act as first point of contact for site queries and manage Head Office maintenance issues

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in maintenance coordination, facilities administration or a similar role (hospitality or retail experience beneficial)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of building services, maintenance processes and UK compliance standards (desirable)
• Competent using maintenance or CAFM systems
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving operational environment
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
