Studio Paskin | People Coordinator
Studio Paskin is looking for a proactive and people-focused People Coordinator to join our Central Office Team and play a vital role in shaping the employee journey across our group. You’ll support our teams by ensuring smooth recruitment processes, seamless onboarding experiences and a workplace culture where our people feel supported, engaged and inspired. Our London portfolio now includes The Palomar, The Barbary, The Barbary Next Door, The Barbary Notting Hill, The Blue Posts, The Mulwray and Evelyn’s Table.
This is a dynamic role at the heart of our business, working closely with the Senior People & Culture Manager to ensure our teams thrive. You will be a key driver of employee experience, helping us attract and retain great talent while supporting a culture that reflects our values and ambitions.
About us:
A creative hospitality studio since 1995.
From The End to Evelyn’s Table, we have always created places we dream about – places that inspire us and where people want to be. Founded by siblings Zoë and Layo, Studio PASKIN is underpinned by an open-minded, compassionate and enthusiastic belief in the power of heartfelt hospitality.
We create places that combine elegance, professionalism, quality and style – places that have won us critical praise, multiple awards and the loyalty of our people.
We’d love for you to be a part of it.
You’ll be:
- People-focused. You have a natural ability to build relationships, support others and role model positive behaviours across the business.
- Highly organised, systems focussed & detail-driven. From managing compliance to keeping records up to date, you thrive in a structured environment where nothing slips through the cracks.
- A creative recruiter. You’ll bring fresh ideas to how we attract junior talent, ensuring vacancies are filled swiftly with the right people.
- Proactive & adaptable. Whether updating policies, supporting wellbeing initiatives, or assisting with training, you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
- Curious & engaged. You’re keen to benchmark, research and introduce new ideas that improve employee experience, learning and wellbeing.
You will:
- Manage junior recruitment processes end-to-end: from advertising and screening candidates, to scheduling trials, sending offers and supporting onboarding.
- Keep job descriptions up to date, and ensure candidates and managers are supported through every step of the hiring journey.
- Support retention by building strong relationships with staff, conducting surveys and helping analyse trends in turnover and engagement.
- Ensure compliance is always met: from right-to-work checks and food safety qualifications to up-to-date employee records.
- Assist with probation reviews, appraisals, training bookings and employee development initiatives.
- Champion staff wellbeing and perks, ensuring our people know what’s available and feel supported.
- Deputise for the Senior People & Culture Manager when required.
Skills & experience:
- Previous HR or people-management experience within hospitality, or a similar industry is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident working with staff at all levels.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and approachable manner.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Rota Ready) is advantageous, but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential, with the ability to learn other software packages as required.
Our Perks:
- Paid professional development courses.
- Staff discount of up to 50% off across all our Studio Paskin venues.
- Enhanced parental leave package.
- Partnership with Kelly’s Cause and automatic enrolment onto Hospitality Action’s Employee Assistance Programme – access to counselling, remote GP/physio services, legal advice and more.
