We are looking for a Chef to join our brigade of chefs primarily working on Breakfast and supporting our existing Breakfast Chef and covering their days/time off as well as supporting the other Chefs over Lunchtime. This is a Full time contract 40 hours per week

Our Kitchen is at the heart of our Food & Beverage department providing food for our guests in our Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Meetings & Events department. This is an excellent opportunity to join our chefs supporting breakfast and Lunch. As a Breakfast Chef you will have:

  • Previous experience as a breakfast chef preparing Buffet and a la carte breakfast service, ideally for 150 plus covers per day
  • NVQ level 2 qualification or similar in food production
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Knowledge and understanding of all applicable Health & Safety legislation
  • Self-motivation with the desire & ability to deliver quality food consistently in time frame
  • Flexibility to work 5 days from 7 on rota including weekends, starting as early as 6am

What will I be doing as a Breakfast Chef?

  • Ensuring adequate mis-en-place prepared for breakfast service each day
  • Taking responsibility for the production of all buffet and a la carte breakfast items, hot and cold.
  • Maintaining standards of service, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by ensuring quality /quantity of food on the restaurant buffet is monitored and replenished as required.
  • Preparing staff food, ensuring quality and quantity provided as required
  • Maintaining a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and ensuring all hygiene and health and safety practices are followed.
  • Ensuring that temperature checks are carried out in line with the Food Safety Regulations
