An excellent opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join our team and drive our Meetings & Events business.

The Events team plays an important role in our business, creating memorable experiences for our guests while maximising revenue from our meetings and events spaces.


As an Events Manager, you will manage the full event booking process, from the initial enquiry through to delivery. You will build strong client relationships, drive sales and work closely with our operational teams to ensure every event runs smoothly and meets our guests’ expectations.

As Events Manager, you will have...


• Previous experience in a Meetings & Events role, ideally within a quality hotel or events company.
• Strong knowledge of the Meetings & Events industry, preferably within London.
• Proven sales experience, with the ability to convert enquiries and develop new business.
• Strong commercial awareness and a focus on achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent organisational, administration and time-management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation and client relationship skills.
• Good computer skills, with experience of event management systems and Opera or similar.
• The ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
• A proactive and professional approach, with excellent attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays when required.


What will I be doing as Events Manager?


• Manage event enquiries and bookings from initial contact through to completion.
• Drive Meetings & Events sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
• Conduct client meetings and show-rounds, presenting the hotel and its facilities.
• Ensure all bookings, amendments and client requirements are accurately recorded and communicated.
• Work closely with Food & Beverage, Revenue, Front Office and other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of events.
• Lead daily and weekly meetings to review upcoming events and operational requirements.
• Prepare and present the weekly Meetings & Events forecast.
• Monitor business levels and identify opportunities to maximise use of event spaces.
• Ensure enquiries and client communications are handled promptly and in line with company standards.
• Monitor client feedback and resolve any issues professionally.
• Support and develop the Events team, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.
