As a Room Attendant, you'll play an incredibly important part in our guests' experience. From beautifully prepared bedrooms to those thoughtful finishing touches, you'll help make sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive.

The Role

As part of our friendly Housekeeping team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned, prepared and presented to the highest standards.

You'll take pride in the little details that make a big difference – from making beds beautifully and ensuring bathrooms sparkle to replenishing guest amenities and making sure everything is exactly where it should be.

Your usual shift times will be 8am – 4:30pm on weekdays and 9am – 5:30pm at weekends. Weekend and bank holiday working is required as part of the rota.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands how important a beautifully clean and well-presented bedroom is to a guest's experience.

Previous housekeeping experience is great, but it's not essential. If you have the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we'll give you the training and support you need to succeed.

You'll need to enjoy being active, be comfortable working at pace and have a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a team and wants to help create a fantastic experience for our guests.

As our Room Attendant, you'll have...

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role would be an advantage, but isn't essential as full training will be provided.

What will you be doing as our Room Attendant?

• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to our high standards.
• Making beds and changing bed linen.
• Cleaning bathrooms, including baths, showers, toilets, sinks and mirrors.
• Dusting, vacuuming and ensuring bedrooms are beautifully presented.
• Replenishing towels, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities and other guest amenities.
• Checking rooms carefully to make sure everything is clean, working correctly and ready for our guests.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or lost property promptly.
• Following hotel cleaning, hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with your Housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments.
• Responding politely and helpfully to guests you meet while carrying out your duties.
• Helping to create the clean, comfortable and welcoming environment that makes our guests want to return.

Please note: there is no staff car parking on site at the hotel, but there is plenty of secure space to store bicycles, with great access to local bus and train services.
