Located right on the river edge in the centre of Royal Windsor, Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa is a popular four star hotel in an unbeatable setting. Comprised of several characterful buildings clustered around a historic cobbled street by Eton Bridge, the hotel offers a collection of individually styled bedrooms, a modern conference centre, The Brasserie restaurant and bar, and the Wren’s Club spa and fitness centre. The perfect riverside location is just steps from Windsor Castle, and is popular for tourists as well as visitors for meetings and events.
We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team at our busy 4-star hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering exceptional guest service, and has a strong sense of responsibility for guest safety and security. Working 40 hours per week, Saturday to Wednesday, from 10:30pm – 7:00am, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel throughout the night.
Suporting the Night Manager and Night Supervsior you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome, assisting with guest requests, carrying luggage, conducting regular security walks, and ensuring the hotel is safe, secure, and ready for the day ahead. Our hotel is spread across multiple buildings, with only one building serviced by a lift, therefore this role requires a good level of physical fitness and a willingness to assist guests with luggage when required.
This role requires flexibility, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work confidently and independently throughout the night.

As our Night Porter, you'll have...
• Previous experience within a hotel, hospitality, customer service, or security role is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
• A proactive and professional approach to guest service.
• A good level of physical fitness, including carrying luggage and walking between hotel buildings.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and report maintenance or security issues.
• The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with guest enquiries or incidents.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
• A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
What will you be doing as our Night Porter?
• Welcoming guests and assisting with late arrivals and early departures.
• Carrying guest luggage to and from bedrooms across multiple hotel buildings.
• Conducting regular security walks and checks across all hotel buildings and grounds.
• Ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
• Assisting with setting up public areas and hotel facilities for the following day.
• Reporting any maintenance, security, or health and safety concerns.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout public areas.
• Supporting other hotel departments where required to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel overnight.
