We are seeking a well-organised and reliable individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Casual Linen Porter.

Our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in delivering a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. As a Linen Porter, you will be an essential part of this team, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and guest satisfaction. Your contribution will help ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience and a desire to return.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy linen bags
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day operation
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and basic numeracy skills (for stock checks)
  • High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
  • Previous experience in a similar role (hotel, hospital, or accommodation setting) is preferred

Key responsibilities:

  • Receiving and managing deliveries of clean linen from external suppliers
  • Ensuring all departments are stocked with the correct levels of clean linen
  • Sorting, counting, and preparing soiled linen for collection, ensuring all items are correctly labelled
  • Assisting with the laundering of staff uniforms and managing dry cleaning processes
  • Supporting with the movement of furniture and deliveries as required
  • Assisting Room Attendants with tasks such as removing and rehanging curtains and shower fittings
  • Developing knowledge of the hotel’s products and services
