We are looking for an Assistant Floor Services Manager with previous operational experience in all F & B departments including Restaurant, Bar, Events & Weddings to join our busy team.

Our Food and Beverage Department is the heart of our busy hotel and includes our Restaurant, and Bar/Lounge as well as our extensive Meeting and Events facilities. As Assistant Floor Services Manager you will be managing the F & B Supervisor and Shift Leaders to provide excellent service to our guests. As F&B Floor Services Manager you will have...


• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Junior or Assistant Manager in a quality 4 * hotels.
• Operational experience in all F & B departments including Events & Weddings with a good knowledge of wines & spirits and a passion for fresh, quality food.
• Financial awareness with an understanding of Food & Beverage revenue streams & controls, including POS, ideally Symphony.
• Self-motivation and ability to motivate others to achieve.
• The drive and ability to implement standard, policies and procedures and to ensure they are adhered to.
• Proven man-management, coaching and team building skills.
• A good understanding of all applicable Health & Safety legislation.
• An outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner and excellent command of written & spoken English with good IT skills.


What will I be doing as F&B Floor Services Manager?


• Bridging the operational gap between the Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Meetings and Events teams to ensure a smooth overall F&B operation at all times.
• Monitoring standards and engaging with customers/guests to obtain feedback on service levels.
• Creating and managing a monthly departmental training calendar to include inductions, all aspects of product knowledge, standards and health and safety training.
• Delivering on job coaching and training to individuals and small groups to ensure they are effective in their roles and their skills are developed.
• Acting as a hands-on manager on the floor when departmental managers are not on site.
• Managing the pool of casual workers to ensure they are inducted, trained and developed
• Effectively managing the equipment used in the departments, ensuring stock takes are done on a regular basis and equipment is replaced when needed.
• To help to manage staff costs by monitoring the rotas and business levels on a day-to-day basis and making adjustments where required.
• Covering Duty Manager shifts as and when required.
