The Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club is set in peaceful Warwickshire countryside and is well placed for access to Birmingham, Coventry, and other major centres. Birmingham Airport, the National Exhibition Centre and motorway links to the M6 and M42 are all within a few miles of the hotel.

We are currently recruiting for a Golf Operations Team Member to join our Truly Talented team.

What we offer

  • £12.50 per hour
  • Fixed Term, Seasonal hours
  • Starting on 16 hours from April, to prepare for the main golf season.  40 hours from May to September

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties
Operational Tasks:
• Meet, greet and check in members and guests to the Leisure Club/Golf Shop/Starters Lodge with a warm, friendly and professional attitude.
• To carry out cleaning duties professionally and efficiently to a high standard.
• To upsell stock and services on offer at the club.
• To assist the membership sales team by handling enquiries and displaying a sound knowledge of our various offerings, demonstrating a customer focussed attitude at all times.
• Understand and uphold the hotel's policy on cash handling and fraud.
• Ensure that all procedures aligned with health & safety and security are fully adhered to.
• Maintain a hands on approach in supporting the relevant teams.
• Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management.

Back of House Tasks:

• Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
• Develop a good working knowledge of all relevant systems and procedures.

Supervision, Training and Development:

• Full training and career development will available
Personality
• Friendly, professional and welcoming.
• Excellent verbal / telephone / written communication skills.
• Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
• Highly organised and motivated.
• Ambitious

Experience & Qualifications
• A strong command of spoken and written English is required.
• Should be both numerate and literate
• Must be able to legally work in the United Kingdom.
• A knowledge of golf or sport orientated background is preferred but not essential
• Computer literate and a working knowledge of a Leisure POS is preferred but not essential.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
