We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and passionate People & Culture Coordinator to join our Truly Talented team.

The role:

The People & Culture Coordinator will take the lead and provide comprehensive and confidential People & Culture support, contributing to our business goals whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships.

In your role you will lead the People & Culture function, putting the People front and centre while ensuring compliance in all statutory areas.

The role provides consistently high standard support, both administrative and non-administrative to the People department, actively driving our goal of becoming an employer of choice.

This role will be responsible for all aspects of the People & Culture function, including but not limited to:

• Support with the new joiner onboarding and induction process, contracts, starter documents and ad hoc request as require;
• Maintain the online training platform with new starters and leavers details;
• Maintain the HR files and HR system, ensuring all employment related documents is completed and is up to date;
• Support with ad hoc HR projects as required;
• Conducting right to work checks & issuing contracts for all new starters;
• Supporting and participating in all recruitment process collecting applications, sending reference checks, negotiation, offering and employment contract;
• Managing employee sick leave, holiday and personal time off.

The core skills and experience required to succeed:

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry with a genuine passion and a creative flair;
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources;
• Experience working in a fast-paced Hotel background is essential, you will already be familiar with the various departments, roles and operations within a Hotel environment.
• Be able to demonstrate experience in a complete range of HR practices including recruitment, learning and development, employee relations;
• Excellent level of English;
• Excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues;
• Effective organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload;
• Excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality;
• Friendly, approachable and professional;
• Have a strong eye for detail;
• CIPD qualification preferred but not essential.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
