DUTY MANAGER - GRAND PACIFIC LEEDS

We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager to join our Truly Talented team.

Grand Pacific are on the lookout for a new Duty Manager.

Here, we believe that personality is the key behind all hospitality recruitment and we want you to show us yours! This role is perfect for individuals that have a passion for hospitality and an ambition to grow their careers within the industry. Experience in a similar role in a high-volume environment would be advantageous, however a full training programme will be provided for the successful candidate.

As a duty manager you are responsible in assisting that the premises are operational for all permitted hours, and taking responsibility for running one of the front of house departments.

Job Description:

• To recruit and staff for your department, including rostering, training and development, and HR management as necessary.
• To champion the service criteria and specification procedures.
• To ensure timely procurement of all departmental resources. For example, liquor stock, disposables, glassware or cutlery as necessary and with regard for site budget.
• To carry out all duty manager responsibilities required for the safe and efficient running of service; including daily safe counts, quality control, guest interaction, change ordering and collection, cashing out, daily banking, issuing bar floats, daily and weekly compliance checks, pre shift briefings.
• To liaise with the AGM and GM for departmental maintenance requirements.
• To maintain an open-door policy for staff feedback and communication, and to manage lines of communication throughout your team in such a way that the team feels engaged.
• To monitor the progress and effectiveness of the in-store trainer.
• To be a motivational and positive team leader.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
