Until recently, this address was home to one of the country’s foremost recording venues. The hotel reflects the performance culture of Covent Garden and adds to it through performance spaces of its own.

We are currently seeking a Reservations Agent/Booking Services Agent to join our expanding Booking Services Team.

Purpose and Responsibilities

A key member of the Booking Services/Reservations Team, carrying out all shift duties to the required standards, ensuring superior service, guest care and hospitality are always provided. 

Your duties will include:

  • Proactively selling to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction by receiving room reservations.
  • Contributing to achieving maximum occupancy for all hotels by assisting in maintaining effective inventory control.
  • Handling all reservations and group sales enquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensuring that all reservations are inputted in the system efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maximising customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting the hotel’s other services and facilities to guests.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a hotel receptionist
  • An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Professional and warm personality
  • Exceptional customer care skills
  • Empathy for your colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Pride and attention to detail in your work
  • The finest personal presentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with everyone.

If you can demonstrate the following skills, that would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge and use of Protel Air PMS system and Delphi reservations system
  • Experience of FITs and OTAs

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
