The Seasonal greenkeeper is responsible for…….

Essential Functions

· To maintain greens, fairways, bunkers and rough to ensure course meets standards

· To perform routine set up to ensure the golf course is prepared for golfers

· To perform general maintenance to all course areas, to a set standard

· To undertake project work on designated areas for improvement of the course

· Maintain good standards of health and safety for self and others

· To comply with all statutory requirements and other instructions regarding the safe storage and use of chemicals, materials machinery and equipment

· To operate machinery and carry out pre start checks

· To carry out all other duties as may be required to ensure the hotel operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction

Competencies

· Must be able to start early

· Must be able to work in all weather conditions

· Must be able to work on own as well as part of a team

· Must be able to work weekends

· Must be able to work with a high attention to detail

Preferred Education and Experience

A basic knowledge of greenkeeping/gardening

Greenkeeping experience preferred, but training will be given

Driving licence
