Job Description

The Food and Beverage supervisor will assist the outlet manager in the day to day running of operations within their designated department, upholding The Grand's standards of excellence.

 Key Deliverables:

- Operational knowledge of our afternoon tea service offered
- Confidence in leading the team on shifts
- To have a good product knowledge of F&B offered
- Provide administrative support where necessary
- Being able to work across, bar, host & floor

 Responsibilities:

- Running shifts
- Mise-en-place for the upcoming service / day ahead
- Provide support to team members
- Cash handling duties
- Ability to deal with conflict in a 5* manner
- To be able to complete team training
- Contacting bookings to confirm details
- Compiling order sheets and stock counts

• To lead operational shifts in the absence of senior management
• Ensure all service requirements, including opening and closing duties are completed correctly
• Prepare and conduct pre-shift briefings in line with management guidance
• Comply with all closing procedures, including cash up, in accordance with stated SOPs
• To support with departmental training and onboarding across F&B outlets
• To manage and resolve all guest queries efficiently and effectively
• To report all relevant information to outlet managers in a timely manner
• To ensure consistency in the delivery of high standards through F&B service
