The Role

Hotel Indigo Liverpool are now recruiting for a Head Chef for the MPW Restaurant.  Marco's restaurants are all about the experience; the buzz, the unique atmosphere, and the enjoyment of being out with friends and family in gorgeous, lively surroundings.

You will be passionate about food and a dynamic leader with a proven ability and track record in delivery, #BuildingBrilliance and creating extraordinary, unique food experiences for our clients.


What you’ll be doing

  • Culinary Leadership: Lead the kitchen team by setting high culinary standards and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures in food preparation, presentation, and service to consistently meet and exceed guest expectations.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses and inventory, including food and labour costs, to ensure budget compliance while maintaining quality.
  • Health and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation, complying with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in the kitchen by introducing new cooking techniques, concepts, and seasonal dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting

As Head Chef, you will need at least 3/4 years proven Head Chef experience within a high-quality branded Restaurant or Hotel. A passion for fine ingredients and excellent presentation is a must. You must be able to demonstrate excellent management of people and control whilst developing and driving your team to excellence.  Your menu will have flair and creativity that reflects the Marco Pierre White brand, resulting in a high standard of consistency and profitability, delivering a service that creates an ambiance second to none.
