POSITION PROFILE:

Respond to all engineering service calls, giving priority to guest requests, and maintain hotel equipment in an efficient, safe,
accident-free manner. Ensure a safe, resourceful, and well-maintained hotel environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

 Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.

 Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on all hotel equipment, including kitchen, laundry, boiler,
plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms.

 Take water samples of boiler, loop, and cooling tower systems and treat the water to maintain predetermined levels of
chemical concentration.

 Operate various equipment; maintain the domestic hot and cold-water systems and monitor various electrical switch gears
to ensure proper operation.

 Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance duties in the engineering spaces as well as other assigned daily
operations.

 Make rounds of the hotel property to ensure everything is in working order.

 Complete maintenance requests, take equipment and meter readings, and maintain log to notify the nextshift.

 Respond to all emergency situations including fire alarms, bomb threats, disasters and power failures; notify the
appropriate authorities.

 Handle operation of the boiler and chiller and maintaining temperatures throughout the building.

 Assist with maintenance of parking lot and snow removal as needed.

 Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
