Receptionist

The Ickworth Hotel is seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join our team.  As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. 

This a permanent role, at 40 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends), with an hourly rate of £11.55 plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package. 

Responsibilities:

- Welcoming guests and conducting a full check in/check out: Ensuring check in and check out is timely and smooth and guests are shown to their hotel rooms personally and given a tour of their room and explanation of the hotel and its facilities.

- Be the point of contact for all guest queries: Ensure you are able to communicate in a genuine way to answer all guest queries and showcase your knowledge of the hotel facilities and activities and are able to share information about the local area.

- Make long lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working with Opera - would be beneficial
• Charisma, an engaging personality, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and guest needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
