We are now seeking a skilled Breakfast Chef to join our brilliant team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.
Position Overview:
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so our breakfast Chef will play a pivotal role in delivering a delightful morning dining experience for our guests, ensuring that every dish is prepared to the highest standard.
This is a permanent position, at 40 hours per week (including weekends), with a salary of £28,840 per annum - plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.
You will:
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and specifications, whilst maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety practices in the kitchen.
- You will demonstrate your awareness and understanding of allergens.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service, working efficiently to minimise waste and optimise food cost.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as needed.
- Assist with menu development and contribute creative ideas for enhancing the breakfast offerings.
What we need:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- A friendly and engaging personality, with a passion for hospitality and great service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food Hygiene level 2 would be beneficial.
