The Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced QHSE Engineer to support the development, harmonisation and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems across multiple Solsta operational sites.
Working closely with the QHSE Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting audits and certifications, driving continuous improvement activities and embedding a strong QHSE culture across the business.
This is a varied, visible and collaborative role offering exposure across multiple engineering and manufacturing environments.
To support flexibility across the business, the successful candidate may be based from one of several operational locations including Redditch, Weymouth or Nantwich
Key Responsibilities
• Support and improve QHSE management systems across multiple locations
• Assist with compliance to ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
• Conduct internal audits and support customer, supplier and third-party audits
• Support investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with supplier quality activities, vendor approvals and compliance documentation
• Prepare QHSE reports, KPI data and management updates
• Support future certification and standards development activity
• Work closely with operational teams, management, customers and suppliers
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience within a QHSE, Quality Engineering or Compliance role in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, electronics or technical environments
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
• Internal audit experience and understanding of corrective action processes
• Experience supporting audits, investigations and supplier quality activities
• Strong communication, reporting and organisational skills
• Ability to work across multiple sites and stakeholders
• NEBOSH/IOSH qualification desirable
• Exposure to ISO13485, IATF16949 or FAIR documentation advantageous
