Kitchen - New Park Manor Hotel

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £11.55 per hour plus generous charge

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at New Park Manor Hotel, part of the Luxury Family Hotel group.

We are looking for someone who can work flexibly over a minimum of 20 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £11.55 per hour, plus generous service charge.

As Kitchen Porter your core responsibilities will be:

- Ensuring all plates, crockery, and cooking equipment are cleaned: Your role will be to oversee the pot wash area of the kitchen and ensure that all crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment are cleaned efficiently and correctly
- Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down: You will ensure that your station is clean and tidy throughout your shift and ready for handover at the end of your shift.
- Make sure your work area is safe and any chemicals used are used correctly: You will be responsible for ensuring your work area remains safe through cleaning spillages, and the correct safety procedures are followed particularly when using chemicals.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

- Food Hygiene level 2 is beneficial but not essential
- Charisma, an engaging personality, and a passion for providing great service to our guests.
- Ability to keep calm and focussed during busy service and to keep your station clean and tidy throughout your shift.
