Recruitment and Talent Officer - Maternity Cover

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Officer to join our team on a 9-month Maternity cover basis. Working alongside the People Team this role will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our luxury hotels, ensuring that the recruitment process is seamless and efficient. This role will be available for 9 months and as a hybrid role, can be split between homeworking and visiting our hotel properties as and when required - flexibility will be required for travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing and Candidate Screening:

  • Source and engage with candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, screening for all roles up to HOD level to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.

Interview Coordination:

  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers across the business to ensure an efficient interview process.

Onboarding administration:

  • Process all onboarding documentation, ensuring compliance, liaising with the Peopleteam to confirm inductions. Conduct reference checks for all candidates and update our system. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

System management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities using the ATS system. Post job adverts in line with our LFH Guidelines.

Attend Recruitment Fairs and college/university visits and manage social media job postings:

  • Attend recruitment fairs and visit colleges and universities to showcase and represent LFH. You will also host recruitment open days at the hotels where necessary.

Stay updated on industry trends:

  • Stay informed of best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

To succeed in this role we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
